Getting Started
For edibles: 2.5-5mg THC. For flower: one small puff, then wait 15 minutes. You can always take more later. You can’t take less once you’ve taken too much. Be patient with yourself as you figure out the right dosage for your body.
Talk to one of our budtenders (our retail team members). They’ll ask what you’re looking to feel and help you find something that makes sense. No judgment, no pressure.
Find a calm space, drink water, and wait it out. It will pass. Start with low doses (2.5-5mg for edibles) to avoid this. Slow and slow!

DutchiePay is a payment method option. In addition to DutchiePay we accept cash and debit (runs as a cashless ATM). We do have an ATM in-store.
How DutchiePay works:

Attaching your bank account to a dispensary? Yeah, we understand the hesitation. Dutchie Pay is fully regulated and encrypted, and your details live with Dutchie, not us. It is the same kind of secure setup you would find in any payment app, just built for an industry that is still figuring out how to make shopping as easy as it should be.

Product & Dosing
You’ve probably heard it before, sativa is energizing, indica is relaxing, hybrid is somewhere in between. That’s not wrong, but it’s not the whole picture either.
Sativa plants grow tall and narrow with long, thin leaves. They originated in warm, equatorial climates and have historically been associated with uplifting, cerebral effects.
Indica plants are shorter and bushier with broader leaves. They developed in cooler mountain environments and have historically been associated with body-heavy, sedating effects.
Hybrid plants are crossbreeds of the two, bred to combine traits from both.
The generalization holds often enough that it’s still useful shorthand, especially if you’re new to cannabis. But the real driver of your experience is the cannabinoid and terpene profile of the specific strain, not the plant type. Today’s genetics are so thoroughly crossbred that a strain labeled sativa might have a terpene profile that’s deeply relaxing, and vice versa.
Think of indica, sativa, and hybrid as a starting point, then use THC, CBD, and terpenes to dial in exactly what you’re looking for.
Cannabinoids are the active compounds in cannabis that interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system to produce effects.
No cannabinoid works in isolation — they work together with terpenes in what’s known as the entourage effect, meaning the whole plant is greater than the sum of its parts.
There are over 100 of them, here’s what to know about the most important ones.
The Majors
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary psychoactive compound. It’s responsible for the euphoric, heady feeling most people associate with cannabis.
CBD (cannabidiol) is non-intoxicating and widely recognized for its calming, balancing properties. It’s often found alongside THC, where it can soften the intensity of the experience.
The Minors
CBG (cannabigerol) is sometimes called the “mother cannabinoid” — it’s the precursor from which many other cannabinoids develop. It tends to feel clear-headed and grounding.
CBN (cannabinol) forms as THC ages and breaks down. It’s associated with a mellower, more sedative quality and is often found in higher concentrations in older flower.
CBC (cannabichromene) is less studied but thought to work best in combination with other cannabinoids, contributing to the overall depth of the experience.
Terpenes are the natural compounds that give cannabis its aroma and flavor — the reason one strain smells like fresh citrus and another like pine or baked earth. But they do more than just smell good. Terpenes interact with cannabinoids to shape the overall experience, influencing whether a strain feels energizing, calming, or somewhere in between.
Common terpenes include myrcene (earthy, relaxing), limonene (citrusy, uplifting), and pinene (fresh, clarifying).
When you’re choosing a strain, paying attention to terpenes is one of the best ways to find what works for you.
Flower can dry out or get moldy if stored wrong. Edibles have expiration dates. Check packaging and store properly.
Cool, dark, dry place in an airtight container away from kids and pets. Don’t leave it in your car.
30 minutes to 2 hours. Be patient and don’t take more because “it’s not working yet.” Everyone’s endocannabinoid system is unique and not all receptors are the same. It also depends what else is in your stomach!
These are all different consumption methods, or categories, of the cannabis plant
Flower is cannabis in its most natural form — dried, cured bud that you grind and smoke or use in a pipe. Effects hit fast (within minutes) and are easy to control, making it a favorite for those who like to dial in their experience in real time.
Vapes use concentrated cannabis oil or extract heated to a vapor. The draw is smooth, discreet, and portable, with a quick onset similar to flower but a cleaner feel.
Edibles are cannabis infused into food or drink. Because they’re processed through digestion, onset takes 30 minutes to 2 hours — but the effects tend to be stronger and longer-lasting. Start low, go slow
Delta 9 THC is the scientific term for THC. It is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis responsible for the “high.” It interacts with endocannabinoid receptors in your brain and nervous system, producing unique effects to your body.
Hemp and cannabis are botanical varieties of the same plant, distinguished primarily by their THC concentration. Every product in our store is subject to mandatory testing for potency, pesticides, and contaminants. Lab results are accessible by following the instructions printed on each product’s packaging.
Minnesota Laws
No. Even to states where it’s legal. Cannabis is still federally illegal, and crossing state lines is a federal offense.
No. Driving under the influence of any amount of cannabis is illegal and dangerous.
Check your lease. Landlords can prohibit cannabis use even though it’s legal.
You can use cannabis in private residences (with owner permission) and some outdoor public spaces like sidewalks. You cannot use it in vehicles, indoor public spaces (bars, restaurants, offices, stores), apartment balconies or patios, public parks in Minneapolis, near schools, anywhere smoke could be inhaled by minors, or on federal property.
You can possess up to 2 ounces of flower, 8 grams of concentrate, or 800mg of edible THC. Purchase limits per transaction may vary.
